ANINE BING is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Strategic Finance team.

The Financial Analyst will spearhead projects from inception to implementation turning data into actionable insights to enhance profitability at ANINE BING.

The ideal candidate is well-versed with financial statements, KPIs, and has experience working with large data sets. This person is driven and detail-oriented and works collaboratively with the organization’s finance team, accounting, and business partners. An analytical, curious, and open-minded approach to problem-solving is essential to thrive in this role.

This remote role can be based anywhere in the UK and will report to the Strategic Finance Manager. The position requires a working schedule of 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM GMT to align with our Los Angeles team’s PST hours. On occasion, you may need to work slightly later to ensure additional overlap with the US team, although this should be rare.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze financial KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly to help shape our financial summary at month-end.
  • Work closely with our Accounting department during month-end close to understand variances to forecast and budget.
  • Deep dive into material expenses and create forecasting tools to assist the business in improving forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with channel and functional leads, including retail, wholesale, e-commerce, marketing, buying/planning, etc., to understand their most pressing business needs and execute on analysis, drawing strategic insights and recommending next steps.
  • Develop scalable models/tools/analyses to identify and evaluate opportunities across the business, such as profitability of projects, market areas, and new initiatives, partnering closely with team members across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or other related fields. Consulting, Investment banking, or apparel company experience a plus
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant area
  • Advanced Excel user with proficiency in advanced data/financial operations and extensive experience building bottoms up financial models
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and/or general accounting knowledge a plus
  • Must be able work US/ Pacific time zone hours from time to time, and work from a home office
