Production Manager (Non-Apparel)

ANINE BING is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end production process for non-apparel products, ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining alignment with our brand values.

This role requires proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective vendor management, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of materials, construction techniques, and production workflows, as well as the ability to manage complex timelines in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based at our Paris HQ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire production process for non-apparel products, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest quality standards aligned with the ANINE BING aesthetic.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, managing production timelines and addressing daily production-related issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development and Technical Design, to prioritize approvals for materials, prototypes, and final designs.
  • Manage pre-costing processes, analyzing materials and production requirements to ensure accurate and realistic pricing for all products.
  • Review bulk material submissions, troubleshoot quality issues, and communicate approvals or rejections to vendors.
  • Maintain accurate WIP reports, confirm costs and deliveries in ERP systems, and escalate high-risk production challenges to leadership.
  • Travel to domestic and international production locations to oversee on-site operations, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery schedules.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Production Assistants and Interns, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in production management,
  • Experience working with international production hubs.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, product construction techniques, and quality standards.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or PLM systems is a plus.
