Junior Merchandiser

ANINE BING is looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team.

The Junior Merchandiser will support the Merchandising team in executing seasonal assortment strategies, analyzing sales performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive product success.

This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for fashion, strong analytical skills, and an ability to balance both creative and commercial needs. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the growth of ANINE BING’s categories.

This role is based at our Paris HQ and reports to the Senior Merchandiser.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of seasonal range plans and collection briefs, ensuring alignment with the brand’s strategic objectives and market trends.
  • Support the Merchandising team in analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities and inform future collections.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Product Development teams to track collection development and maintain alignment with the brand’s financial and aesthetic goals.
  • Manage SKU-level assortment details, pricing, and margin targets throughout the product development cycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale, to ensure seamless product launches and consistent messaging.
  • Maintain and update merchandising reports, assortment sheets, and pricing databases to support decision-making.
  • Participate in competitive benchmarking and pricing strategy discussions to ensure optimal product positioning.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and sales tools for internal teams to enhance product knowledge and drive sales performance.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a related role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index Match) for reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for fashion, with a keen interest in product trends and market dynamics.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
