What We Are Looking For:

As a Senior Merchandise Planning Manager - DTC, you will work closely with cross-functional partners in the creation and management of merchandise sales, gross margin and inventory plans at the department and class level for our DTC business. The ability to multi-task and prioritize will be important to the success of this role. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.

The role is critical to the growth of Anine Bing and will work closely with the buying, production, retail, ecommerce, operations and finance teams. This position will report to the VP Buying and Planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial success of the business by meeting sales goals and maintaining healthy inventory levels
  • Develop and maintain annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans for multiple product categories
  • Present recommendations and other analysis to leadership related to driving short term and long term business goals
  • Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning
  • Maintain weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Actualize and reforecast item level plans for our classics program to ensure the flow of inventory supports the current and future business
  • Identify risks and opportunities regarding the in stock inventory position
  • Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required to support the Planning and Buying departments
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in planning and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional team members


Required Skills:

  • Solid understanding of financial measurements including sales, gross margin, inventory turn, ST%, weeks of supply and how to impact them
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, with a high proficiency in Excel
  • Detailed oriented and a high accuracy in reporting
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant change and shifting priorities
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
